Elephants are lovely creatures and it did cross my mind that this song might somehow incorrectly tarnish the reputation of elephants especially as the original song, for me, was a joyous anthem about liberation from the circus. Any depiction of an elephant in artwork accompanying this is for poetic effect. Elephants are under threat in their natural habitats and this is often highly disguised. There is more interwoven poetry in the picture. Does the elephant wear the veil? Is that an Aberdeen Bay wind turbine or a peace flower?
